MineGo Privacy Notice

Last Updated: April 29, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how MineGo collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information through minego.io and related MineGo-controlled online experiences.

MineGo is currently in a prelaunch and early-access stage. At this stage, the public website is primarily used to introduce the platform, allow visitors to watch product previews, and collect waitlist or early-access email interest.

For purposes of this Privacy Notice, MineGo is currently operated by the MineGo Team, a Philippine startup in prelaunch stage.

This Privacy Notice is intended to help users understand what information MineGo currently collects and how that information is handled under MineGo's current website and waitlist setup.

1. Scope

This Privacy Notice applies to personal information collected directly through minego.io, including when you:

  • browse or interact with the website;
  • submit your email address for waitlist, early-access, or launch-related updates;
  • contact MineGo directly;
  • interact with website features, pages, or embedded content controlled by MineGo.

This Privacy Notice does not govern third-party websites, platforms, or services that MineGo may link to, embed, or reference. If you leave minego.io and use a third-party service, that third party's own terms, privacy policy, and practices will apply.

At the current stage, this Privacy Notice is not intended to govern a fully live marketplace relationship involving public bidding, checkout, shipping, payouts, or completed transaction handling. If MineGo later launches those services, MineGo may publish an expanded privacy policy or updated notice.

2. Information MineGo May Collect

At the current stage, MineGo may collect the following information:

Information you provide directly

  • your email address if you join the waitlist or request early access;
  • any message, inquiry, or other information you voluntarily send to MineGo if you contact MineGo directly.

Information collected automatically

  • browser and device information;
  • IP address or approximate location derived from technical website use;
  • website usage data, such as pages visited, actions taken, referral sources, session information, and general interaction data;
  • cookie or similar technical data, if MineGo uses cookies, analytics tools, or similar technologies.

Information from service providers

If MineGo uses tools such as hosting providers, email services, analytics providers, or embedded media services, MineGo may receive or process related technical or operational data through those providers.

3. Why MineGo Collects Information

MineGo may collect and use information to:

  • manage the waitlist and early-access interest list;
  • send launch updates, early-access notices, MineGo-related announcements, product news, surveys, testing invitations, and related promotional or marketing communications;
  • respond to inquiries or support requests;
  • improve website performance, usability, and content;
  • understand general audience interest and engagement;
  • maintain website security and prevent misuse, fraud, or abuse;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect MineGo's rights.

At the current stage, waitlist submission is for early-access interest and MineGo-related updates. It does not automatically create a full marketplace account or guarantee launch access, seller approval, buyer approval, survey/test participation, or feature availability.

4. Legal Basis and Consent

Where required under applicable Philippine data privacy rules, MineGo relies on your consent for the collection and processing of personal information submitted for waitlist, early-access, and related communications.

By submitting your information through MineGo's current waitlist or early-access form, you acknowledge that:

  • you are voluntarily providing your information for the stated purpose;
  • MineGo may use that information to send early-access updates, launch announcements, product news, surveys, testing invitations, and related MineGo marketing or promotional updates;
  • you may later withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational or legal retention needs.

MineGo may also process certain technical or operational data where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or improve the website, subject to applicable law.

5. Waitlist and Early-Access Communications

If you submit your email address to MineGo, MineGo may use it to send:

  • early-access confirmations;
  • launch updates;
  • product or platform announcements;
  • MineGo news and feature updates;
  • surveys and testing invitations;
  • selected promotional or marketing updates related to MineGo;
  • selected updates related to MineGo's development, rollout, or availability.

MineGo should not use waitlist submissions to imply that a user has completed full marketplace registration unless and until MineGo actually opens that registration flow.

Users may request that MineGo stop sending these communications, subject to reasonable processing time and operational requirements.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

MineGo may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, local storage, or similar technologies to:

  • keep the website functioning properly;
  • understand traffic and visitor behavior;
  • improve site navigation, performance, and user experience;
  • support embedded content or related website features.

If MineGo uses non-essential analytics or tracking tools, MineGo should ensure that its cookie disclosure and consent handling match actual website behavior and applicable law.

7. How MineGo Shares Information

MineGo may share information only where reasonably necessary, including:

  • with service providers that help host, operate, secure, analyze, or maintain the website;
  • with email or communications providers used to manage waitlist or launch communications;
  • with legal, compliance, or professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
  • when required by law, lawful request, regulation, court order, or governmental authority;
  • where necessary to investigate misuse, fraud, or security issues;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.

MineGo does not sell personal information collected through the current waitlist or early-access website flow unless a future notice expressly states otherwise.

8. Data Retention

MineGo may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • manage the waitlist or early-access list;
  • send MineGo-related launch or platform updates;
  • maintain records of consent, communications, or requests;
  • resolve disputes or handle legal obligations;
  • protect MineGo's rights, systems, and operations.

If information is no longer reasonably needed for these purposes, MineGo should delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal or operational retention requirements.

9. Data Subject Rights

Subject to applicable Philippine law and any lawful limitations or exceptions, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • be informed;
  • access your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • request deletion, blocking, or erasure where applicable;
  • lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.

MineGo may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

10. Security

MineGo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Users should understand that internet-based communications and storage always involve some level of risk.

11. Third-Party Services and External Links

MineGo may include links, embeds, or references to third-party services. If you interact with those services, their own rules and privacy practices apply.

MineGo is not responsible for how third-party websites, video platforms, embedded tools, analytics providers, or other external services collect or process data once you leave or interact outside MineGo-controlled environments.

12. Children's Privacy

MineGo does not intend to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe that a child has submitted personal information through the website without appropriate authorization, contact MineGo so the matter can be reviewed.

13. Changes to This Privacy Notice

The updated version will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date.
